Joining the Medtreon Physician Network will provide you with
the computer-based equipment and opportunity to see and examine
your patients using a totally secure telecommunications link.
For a monthly fee, Medtreon will supply you with the proper
computer-based equipment necessary to examine and interact
with your patients online.
Your name, specialty, information profile, and location will
be provided in our Medtreon physician directory. You will
have the ability to visit face to face with your patients
using videoconferencing. You will also have the ability to
check vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse,
oxygen saturation, and weight. The patient's heart and
lungs can be auscultated using an electronic stethoscope,
and you will be able to look into the patient's ears,
nose, throat, and mouth with an otoscope camera attachment.
Patients may order their personalized home management equipment
and access you from their own home or other locations for
simple medical problems or for ongoing management of chronic
diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD, congestive
heart failure, and anticoagulation management.
